NovAtel GNSS Boards and Enclosures

Novatel's OEM GNSS receiver platform offers multi-constellation, multi-frequency tracking and features flexibility, low power consumption, field upgradeable software and comprehensive message suites for ease of configuration and data logging. ALIGN firmware combines two or more receivers to generate precise positioning and heading for dynamic applications such as marine or aviation. ALIGN uses GPS, GLONASS and SBAS to provide high solution accuracy and availability, even in difficult environments. Accuracy from synchronized solutions is provided with output rates up to 20 Hz on our OEMV and OEM6 receiver platforms.

NovAtel's DL-V3 is a general purpose high performance GNSS receiver particularly suited for base station and rover applications. The DL-V3 incorporates NovAtel's OEMV-3 receiver board housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure. The DL-V3 provides flexible connectivity options through Serial, USB, Ethernet and Bluetooth interfaces. NovAtel SPAN GNSS Inertial Systems

Combining GNSS receiver technology with Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) provides a superior positioning solution with 3D position, attitude (roll, pitch, yaw) and velocity. SPAN technology tightly couples NovAtel’s GNSS receiver technology with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). We market a variety of IMUs from leading IMU manufacturers to provide our customers the opportunity to select an IMU that delivers the accuracy or price point their application requires. The UIMU-H62/H58 contains Honeywell’s HG1700, a tactical grade IMU containing Ring Laser Gyros (RLG) and Servo accelerometers. The UIMU-HG handles the power requirements of the IMU from a 12-28 VDC power input and provides the IMU data to a SPAN enabled GNSS/INS receiver such as the ProPak-V3 or SPAN-SE using a custom NovAtel interface. The HG1700 is International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled and requires export approval for customers outside the United States. UIMU-HG Datasheet



Our SPAN-CPT GPS/INS receiver integrates NovAtel’s OEMV®; GPS receiver technology with Fiber Optic Gyro (FOG) and Micro Electrical Mechanical System (MEMS) accelerometer inertial components from KVH Industries in a single compact unit. ABX Series

The ABX series of GNSS Sensors offers a variety of configurations. The ABX100 is a low-cost L1 GPS or L1 GPS+GLONASS solution for such applications as a GNSS Rover or a GNSS Base Station. The ABX800 is a higher performance sensor offered with L1L2 GPS or L1L2 GPS+GLONASS. Other options include, an internal UHF radio, Galileo and L5 tracking. The Ashtech HDS800 is a powerful positioning solution that delivers state-of-the-art RTK + Heading measurements in a rugged, highly integrated receiver design that uses all available GNSS signals equally, without any constellation preference, to deliver fast and stable RTK + Heading solutions. The HDS800 has an 128MB internal memory and supports data logging directly to a USB stick or hard drive. In addition, the unit has an internal battery and internal radio. All this in one housing.
